Founded in 1988 by Dr. Anthony Gordon and Sharon Gordon, Restoration Academy was established to combat crime and violence affecting youth in the community. The school relocated to Fairfield in 1999, continuing its mission to provide quality, private education to predominantly lower-income families. With a focus on individual student needs and fostering personal relationships with Jesus Christ, Restoration Academy serves children in grades K5–12.
Restoration Academy boasts a remarkable track record of academic success. Students in grades 7 to 12 advance an average of two years in reading comprehension and math on the Stanford Achievement Test. All graduates have been accepted into college, many with full scholarships, showcasing the effectiveness of the school's educational approach.
