Founded in 1980 by David Lynch, Responsibility began with a mission to uplift families living in dire conditions near Tijuana's garbage dumps. What started as a month-long volunteer effort has blossomed into a comprehensive educational initiative, providing children with essential learning opportunities, including kindergarten and ESL programs.
Over the past 40 years, Responsibility has transformed the lives of more than 12,000 children in Tijuana and over 6,500 students in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, helping them break free from the cycle of poverty.
