Empowering Women in Ministry
The Resource Center for Women and Ministry in the South, founded in 1977 by Jeanette Stokes, has been a beacon of support for women in ministry. Initially starting in a small apartment in Greensboro, North Carolina, RCWMS has grown into a vital community that connects women and nonbinary individuals, fostering creativity, spirituality, and social justice.
Impacting Lives and Communities
RCWMS has successfully created a nurturing environment for women and nonbinary individuals in ministry. Through workshops, retreats, and programs, the organization promotes spiritual activism and addresses inclusivity and diversity, particularly for women of color and LGBTQ+ individuals.
