Our Story

Founded in 2004 by Barbara Reuer, Resounding Joy was inspired by the profound impact music had on her brother, Ronnie, who battled Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. What began as a volunteer effort to provide music therapy experiences for socially-isolated seniors has blossomed into a comprehensive organization serving diverse populations through evidence-based music therapy programs.
