Our Story

Resilience1220 was founded in response to the tragic loss of three teenagers to suicide in May 2019. This heartbreaking event underscored the urgent need for accessible mental health resources for young people. A dedicated group of local therapists and community members came together to dismantle the barriers surrounding mental health care and to combat the stigma associated with seeking help.

Impact

Since its inception, Resilience1220 has served over 2,700 young individuals, equipping them with essential life skills for wellness and resilience through free counseling services and support groups.
