Our Story
Resilience Force was established in response to the increasing frequency and severity of climate disasters in the United States, starting with Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This organization is dedicated to building a stable, well-paid workforce of resilience workers who assist in climate adaptation, preparation, and recovery efforts. Over time, resilience workers have evolved from a marginalized group to a recognized and essential workforce, advocating for their rights and better treatment in the aftermath of disasters.
