Our Story

Founded in 1992 by Drs. Eva Gold and Jolley Bruce Christman, Research for Action (RFA) is dedicated to conducting qualitative research that informs education decision-making. Based in Philadelphia, RFA has developed a national reputation for its impactful research on school reform initiatives. Over the years, the organization has evolved to focus on both qualitative and quantitative research, aiming to influence education policy and practice at local, state, and national levels.
