Our Story

Rescue Dogs Dream was born from a heartfelt commitment to provide a safe haven for at-risk dogs in need. Founded by Faye "Dreama" Blount, this nonprofit organization emerged from a small group of passionate animal lovers determined to make a difference. After overcoming numerous challenges, Dreama secured a beautiful acre of land in Inverness, FL, where dedicated volunteers are tirelessly preparing a nurturing environment for rescue dogs.

As an all-volunteer group, RDD focuses on delivering high-quality care to dogs primarily sourced from local shelters. These dogs often face dire circumstances, including being at risk of euthanasia or suffering from medical issues.
