The Sperm Bank of California (TSBC) was established in 1982 as the first sperm bank in the United States dedicated to serving all women, including lesbians and single women. Originating from the Oakland Feminist Women’s Health Center, TSBC aims to provide legally protected and medically safe family-building options for individuals, regardless of marital status or sexual orientation.
