Our Story

In the late 1940s, a dedicated group of businessmen recognized the need for a safe space for children in Rensselaer. The Rensselaer Boys Club was established to provide recreational activities and character-building opportunities for youth and their families. Over the years, the Club has expanded its reach, continuing to serve as a vital resource for the community.

Impact

Every dollar invested in the Boys & Girls Clubs yields an impressive $9.60 in current and future earnings and savings for the community. Notably, 100% of members in the Gang Prevention Program have remained free from gang involvement, and 90% of parents report that the Clubs have effectively kept their children away from drugs.
