Our Story

Traveling the world opened my eyes to the stark realities of poverty and corruption that exist beyond the borders of my hometown. Witnessing the struggles of families to secure basic needs like food, education, and clean water ignited a passion to make a difference. This journey led to the creation of Renewable Farms, where the mission is to empower communities through sustainable agriculture and education.

After years of learning and building farms in various locations, the vision expanded to establish a permanent space for training and community engagement. In 2014, a partnership with the city of Anaheim birthed Orange County's first Community Urban Mega Farm, known as the Riverbed. This initiative not only provides fresh food but also serves as a hub for education and community development.

Our Impact

Renewable Farms operates two public farms in Southern California, directly impacting the lives of low-income families. Through educational workshops, job training, and mentorship programs, the organization fosters a culture of sustainability and empowerment. Special initiatives support veterans, individuals transitioning from incarceration, and those facing hardships, providing them with opportunities to rebuild their lives.
