Our Story
Founded in 2009 by Jodi Geerlings, a dedicated special education teacher and horsewoman, Renew Therapeutic Riding Center began with a vision to provide therapeutic riding to students in the greater Holland area. Initially named A Touch of Hope and Healing, the organization quickly evolved, moving to leased facilities and adopting the name Renew, inspired by Isaiah 40:31. Over the years, Renew has expanded its services and facilities, including the purchase of 20 acres in 2018 and the construction of a state-of-the-art indoor riding arena in 2020.
