Our Story

Renew Richmond is a dedicated nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of agriculture to empower young people in underserved neighborhoods throughout the greater Richmond region. Established in 2009, the organization focuses on urban farm development, curriculum-based instructional programs, and social enterprise to combat health disparities, poverty, and food insecurity. By fostering strong partnerships and community engagement, Renew Richmond envisions a future where everyone can thrive in healthy, vibrant communities, regardless of their zip code.

Impact

Since its inception, Renew Richmond has committed to change and empowerment, providing hundreds of hours of immersive agriculture education and hands-on green community projects.
