Our Story

Renew Project is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving refugee women resettled in Dupage County, Illinois. Founded in 2009 by a group of compassionate Christian women, Renew aims to create a nurturing environment where these women can flourish. By responding to biblical teachings, the organization demonstrates God's love through practical support and empowerment.

Impact

Renew provides hope, employment, and empowerment for refugee women in the Chicagoland area. Through free sewing and ESL classes, participants gain valuable skills that lead to gainful employment and personal growth. The organization fosters a sustainable model by training Advanced Artisans who mentor new Artisans, creating a vibrant community.
