Our Story

Main IDEA was born from the passion of a group of artists, musicians, and dancers who envisioned an arts community that is open and accessible to all. In the summer of 2011, forty children participated in workshops focused on dance, visual arts, music, and creative drama, allowing them to express themselves in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. The week concluded with a showcase where these young artists shared their creations with family and friends, igniting a spark of creativity in the community.

Impact

Since becoming a nonprofit organization in 2015, Main IDEA has expanded its reach, providing year-round arts programs for youth and teens aged 6-17. Over 300 young individuals benefit from these programs annually, fostering creativity and self-expression.
