Our Story

Founded in 2002 by Co-Directors P.K. Candaux and Sidnie Gallegos, Renaissance Arts Academy is dedicated to providing equitable arts training to public school students. Recognizing the critical link between arts achievement and academic excellence, RenArts addresses the shortage of tuition-free arts education for students from diverse backgrounds. With a focus on orchestral string instruments and contemporary dance, RenArts integrates rigorous academics into its curriculum, ensuring that all students, regardless of prior experience, can thrive in a supportive environment.
