Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts

Our Story

Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts was co-founded by Dr. Donna Marie Cozine and David Silver, who envisioned a school where the arts are fundamental to student learning. Since opening in 2014 with 194 students, the school has grown to serve over 500 students from kindergarten to 6th grade, supported by a dedicated staff of approximately 100 members. The campus has expanded to include specialized classrooms for music, dance, visual arts, and a library, enhancing the educational experience.

Through a rigorous arts-integrated curriculum, Renaissance Academy fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing students for success in college, careers, and life.
