Our Story
The Religious Coalition for Community Renewal was established in 1987 in Charleston, West Virginia, as a response to the growing issue of homelessness identified by the Mayor’s Task Force on Homelessness. Formed by a coalition of over 30 interfaith congregations, RCCR aims to address the various obstacles preventing access to decent, affordable housing. Over the years, the organization has evolved to provide a range of services, including housing counseling, recovery housing, and outreach services, with a commitment to inclusivity and support for all individuals in need.
