Our Story

The Rehabilitation Center for Neurological Development was founded in 1972 by Ruth Hahn and Gloria Hufford, driven by a passion to improve the lives of children with brain injuries. Starting in a church basement, the center quickly expanded, leading to the establishment of the Nicholas School in 1976. With a state-of-the-art facility opened in 2004, the center now serves clients from 52 Ohio counties and 19 states, as well as internationally.
