Our Story
Founded in 1985 by a group of resettled refugee women, the Refugee Women's Alliance (ReWA) addresses the unique needs of refugee and immigrant women and mothers. Recognizing the gaps in social services, ReWA began as the South East Asian Women’s Alliance (SEAWA) to provide essential services in native languages. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the largest nonprofit organizations serving refugees and immigrants in the Puget Sound area.
