Our Story

Founded in 2006 by Rachel Humphries and Lauren Moore, Refugee Support Services connects refugees with the Charlotte community, fostering meaningful relationships and support. Over the years, RSS has evolved to serve refugees, asylees, humanitarian parolees, and special immigrant visa holders through various impactful programs.

Impact

In 2023, RSS supported 1,282 active participants, completed over 6,400 volunteer hours, and engaged 231 volunteers, showcasing its vital role in the community.
