Our Story

The Refugee Education Project was founded in October 2018 by Bryan Concannon, inspired by the experiences of co-founder Iranzi Ntihemuka, who grew up in Gihembe Refugee Camp. REP is dedicated to investing in young African refugee students by providing access to quality advanced education in Rwanda, enabling them to pursue higher education and uplift their families and communities.

Our Impact

Since its inception, REP has positively impacted 50 students by providing essential resources for secondary education, including tuition, uniforms, supplies, and leadership training. This investment not only benefits the students but also their families and communities, as educated individuals contribute positively to society.
