Our Story

The Refuge Center was founded in 2001 by Bryan and Kimberley Lee, who have dedicated nearly 30 years to serving the Tucson community. Initially focused on mentoring high school students and young adults, the center has evolved to meet the spiritual needs of individuals seeking a deeper relationship with God. Following the unexpected passing of Bryan in 2020, Kimberley has taken the helm as CEO/President, bringing over 20 years of teaching experience, particularly in Special Education, to the organization.

The Refuge Center exists to provide spiritual direction and encouragement for those wishing to grow in their faith. This voluntary prayer and support ministry has touched countless lives in the Tucson area.
