Our Story

In the summer of 2013, the North Shore of Milwaukee faced a heartbreaking wave of suicides, including the tragic loss of thirteen-year-old Abby Goldberg. In response, a dedicated group, including Abby's parents, Abe and Beverly Goldberg, came together to form REDgen. This initiative aims to create a safety net for youth, ensuring that no family has to endure such loss again.

Our Impact

REDgen advocates for the mental health and well-being of youth through resilience-focused education and community collaboration.
