Our Story

The Redding Pro-Am Golf Tournament, established in 1973, stands as the premier golf event in Northern California, extending to the Southern Oregon border. For over 50 years, this tournament has been a beacon of hope and support for the Shasta County Special Olympics, contributing more than half a million dollars since 1979. This annual event is crucial, providing over 70% of the SCSO's yearly budget, which directly benefits over 400 athletes and coaches participating in various sports and activities.
