Our Story
Founded in 1996, Red Wiggler Community Farm began as a response to the need for healthier food and meaningful jobs for adults with developmental disabilities. Starting on a 2.5-acre plot in Comus, Maryland, the farm has expanded to a 12-acre site in Germantown, Maryland, where it employs adults with developmental disabilities, providing them with vocational training and opportunities to grow organic vegetables for the community.
