Our Story

Since 1997, Red Tomato has been dedicated to bringing fresh, local, sustainable food to market. By connecting farmers and consumers through innovative marketing, trade, education, and collaboration, Red Tomato ensures that mid-sized farms in the Northeast are the backbone of a sustainable, equitable, and accessible regional food system.

Impact

In 2022, Red Tomato coordinated a network of over 40 family farms across nine states, certified over 30 orchards through its EcoCertified program, and delivered more than $25,000 of fresh food to underserved communities via the Bypass Project.
