Established in 1976, the Red River Revel Arts Festival is a vibrant multi-arts celebration in the Ark-La-Tex region. Originally initiated by the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, it became a nonprofit organization in 1982, dedicated to fostering creativity and providing quality programming in visual and performing arts.

The festival significantly impacts the local community by showcasing over 200 visual and performing artists and facilitating arts education for local 4th graders. With a commitment to reinvesting approximately one-third of its income back into local nonprofits and vendors, the festival has demonstrated consistent growth and a positive trajectory.
