Our Story

Founded in 2007 by Charlotte Liberda and a dedicated team of volunteers, Red Collar Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas. This passionate group is committed to rescuing animals abandoned in high-kill shelters and on the streets, providing them with the medical care, foster homes, and training they need to find loving forever homes.

Impact

Since its inception, Red Collar Rescue has successfully rescued, rehabilitated, and re-homed thousands of animals. The organization invests an average of $1,000 per dog, ensuring that each animal receives the critical care they deserve.
