Our Story

Founded in 2001 by Ross Willard, Recycle Bicycle Harrisburg began as a grassroots effort to repair bicycles for disadvantaged individuals. Over the years, it has transformed into a dedicated bike shop, offering safe and reliable bicycles to those in need. With a permanent location at 1722 Chestnut Street, Harrisburg, PA, RBH continues to grow and serve the community.

Impact

In 2020, Recycle Bicycle Harrisburg provided over 1,500 bicycles, along with hundreds of helmets and safety vests, to individuals in need. The organization also promotes bicycle safety and maintenance through community outreach and education.
