Founded in 1968 by advocates Kay and Leo Perrault, the Recreational Adult Resource Association of Greater Lowell Inc aims to promote visibility and inclusion for developmentally challenged individuals. Starting with a small group of advocates and parents, RARA has grown to provide essential recreational and educational services to adults with intellectual disabilities in the Merrimack Valley region.
RARA enriches the lives of approximately 125 developmentally challenged adults, offering them social, educational, and recreational opportunities that they might not otherwise have access to.
Donations to RARA support essential programs and services for developmentally challenged adults, enabling them to participate in enriching activities that promote social inclusion and personal growth. All donations are tax-deductible and can be earmarked for specific services or in memory of loved ones.
