Our Story
Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history rooted in the recovery community of central Arkansas. Established in the 1950s as the first Alcoholics Anonymous group in the state, it has grown into the largest substance abuse treatment provider in Arkansas. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services and facilities, including the acquisition of Steeplechase Apartments for long-term housing and the Oasis Renewal Center for upscale residential programs. Recognized for its commitment to high safety and treatment quality standards, it was the first free-standing substance abuse treatment facility in Arkansas to receive national accreditation through CARF.
