About Recovering Oklahomans After Disaster
Recovering Oklahomans After Disaster, Inc. (ROAD) was founded in 2018 to assist disaster survivors across Oklahoma. Following the closure of the OK United Methodist Disaster Response Ministry, ROAD emerged to fill the gap, providing essential home repairs for those who cannot recover on their own. The organization quickly gained its 501(c)3 status, allowing it to mobilize resources effectively and begin serving communities impacted by disasters.
Impact of ROAD
Since its inception, ROAD has successfully completed numerous home repair projects, significantly aiding families in rebuilding their lives after disasters. The organization’s commitment to community resiliency has made a tangible difference in the lives of many Oklahomans.
