Founded in the mid-1990s by members of Reba Place Fellowship and Reba Place Church, Reba Place Development Corporation (RPDC) was established to combat rising property values in Evanston. The organization began its mission by purchasing and renovating distressed buildings, starting with the 'House of Peace' in 1995. Since then, RPDC has developed 63 units of affordable housing, emphasizing community involvement and engagement.
