Ready Fest was established in 2019 by dedicated community volunteers in Shelby County, Kentucky, to alleviate the financial burden of back-to-school preparations for families in need. This nonprofit organization is entirely volunteer-run, focusing on providing essential school supplies and support to students.

In 2024, Ready Fest served 1,602 school children, enhancing their educational experience with essential supplies, clothing, and hygiene products.
