Read to Succeed was established to tackle the achievement gap by promoting summer reading among underprivileged students. This innovative program, offered free of charge, is a pioneering initiative aimed at ensuring that students do not fall behind in their educational journey.

Each summer, Read to Succeed helps students in South Providence maintain their learning momentum, with the added incentive of a $1,000 college scholarship awarded annually for up to six years, totaling a potential investment of $6,000 towards their college education.
