Our Story

In the 1990s, Jacques van Bommel, a passionate South African, envisioned a brighter future for the millions of needy children in his homeland. Recognizing the racial and economic barriers, he initiated a mission to reach an entire generation. After years of mentorship in children's ministry, Jacques built a network of like-minded individuals. What began as a summer camp quickly evolved into a scalable model that empowers local communities through logistical support, training, and facilitation. Today, Jacques serves as the President of Reaching a Generation in South Africa (RaG-ZA), a compassionate ministry dedicated to children and families across Southern Africa.
