The REACH Project was founded in 2017 by Max Gerall, an A&M undergrad who recognized the vital yet overlooked role of contract service workers on campus. These essential community members cook meals, clean dorms, and maintain facilities, yet they often remain anonymous and underappreciated. REACH aims to provide education, resources, and opportunities to help these individuals achieve financial self-sufficiency and break the cycle of multi-generational poverty.
REACH has positively impacted over 1,500 families, distributed 40,000 meals during the COVID-19 pandemic, and invested 200,000 volunteer hours into the community.
