Our Story
Founded in 2006 by Tara Boshart Garcia, Reach Out Orphanage Ministries (ROOM) began its mission in Roatan, Honduras. Witnessing the dire conditions of orphanages, Tara connected resources from the U.S. to those in need, leading to the establishment of ROOM as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2009.
Impact
Over the past 16 years, ROOM has delivered hundreds of thousands of meals, clothing, and school supplies to orphaned and vulnerable children across Honduras, India, and Nepal, especially during crises like the pandemic and hurricanes.
