Reach Out Honduras

Our Story

Founded by Alex and Laura Waits, Reach Out Honduras is dedicated to serving the Miskito people in the La Mosquitia region. The organization began with a heartfelt mission to support orphans and vulnerable children, leading to the establishment of the Abundant Life Institute, a Christian middle and high school.

Impact

Each year, Reach Out Honduras educates over 500 students and has provided more than 1,000,000 meals to those in need. With an annual graduation rate of 89 students, the organization empowers youth to pursue further education or employment.
