The Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation was founded in 2002 by oncologist Dr. David Schrier in memory of Ray Wentz, a brave teenager battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Ray's journey highlighted the struggles faced by cancer patients, especially those dealing with financial burdens. Today, the foundation continues to honor his legacy by providing essential support to those in need.

Patients receiving financial assistance from Ray of Hope have a remarkable 73% survival rate, compared to just 46% for those who do not receive help. The foundation offers unrestricted grants directly to patients, ensuring they can focus on their recovery.
