Since 1988, RAW Art Works has been a beacon of hope for underserved youth in Lynn, Massachusetts. Founded by Mary Flannery, the organization began with a vision to provide a safe and nurturing environment for teens who often felt lost and disconnected. The first statewide art therapy program for incarcerated youth was designed to place paintbrushes in the hands of those who needed it most. Today, RAW Art Works has evolved from a single-room studio serving just 16 teens to a nationally-recognized organization impacting over 400 youth annually.
