Our Story

Founded in 2011, Raven Rock Ranch is dedicated to breaking the cycles of trauma, suicide, and domestic violence. Located in Western Washington, the program serves King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties, providing essential mental health support to individuals aged 7 and up who have faced severe emotional, physical, or verbal trauma. Utilizing scientifically proven mental health therapies, RRR pairs each client with a horse and a facilitator, fostering skills such as cooperation, trust, and responsibility.

Impact

Last year, Raven Rock Ranch delivered over 2,000 hours and 1,200 sessions of free mental health services. The program boasts a remarkable success rate, with GPAs increasing from 1.7 to 3.6 and school attendance rising from 56% to 98%. Most notably, suicidal ideation decreased from 98% to just 2% after one year of treatment.
