Our Story
The Rappahannock Emergency Medical Services Council was established in 1976 to develop a coordinated emergency response system in Planning Districts 9 & 16. Over the years, it has introduced vital training programs and community initiatives to elevate emergency medical services.
Impact
Through numerous training programs and emergency response initiatives, the REMS Council has significantly improved emergency medical services in the Rappahannock region, including pioneering the first Advanced Life Support (ALS) programs.
