The Ramsey Foundation was founded by Sara and Matthew Ramsey, who are deeply connected to their roots in rural Southwest Virginia. Recognizing the disparity in resources between rural and urban areas, the foundation aims to bring urban benefits home by supporting programs that meet basic needs and expand access to the arts.

With over $177,000 raised through events like Nashville Night, the Ramsey Foundation has provided over 82,500 meals to local food pantries and supported various cultural arts initiatives in rural communities.
