Our Story
Founded in 1968 with a modest $50 donation from the Women’s Club of Raleigh, the Raleigh Youth Choir has a rich history of nurturing vocal talent and promoting excellence in music. Over the past 55 years, this all-boy choir has captivated audiences across the globe, performing for esteemed figures including the Pope and several U.S. Presidents. In 2022, the choir evolved into the Raleigh Youth Choir, embracing inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility while continuing its commitment to musical excellence. Now serving young singers aged 6-18, the choir has grown to over 110 members, fostering a vibrant community that empowers every voice.
