Our Story
In 2006, at the Buduburam Refugee Settlement in Ghana, founder Shelley Spurlock encountered the inspiring stories of Liberian young adults eager to return home and aid in the post-war rebuilding of their nation. This encounter led to the establishment of Raise Your Hand Foundation, which has since provided over 2,500 scholarships to empower these individuals through higher education.
