Our Story

Founded in 2007, Rainforest Partnership addresses the challenge of deforestation by centering the needs and rights of Indigenous and local communities. By implementing conservation projects on the ground and promoting awareness through events like World Rainforest Day, this organization protects standing forests from the ground up and the top down.

Impact

Rainforest Partnership empowers over 100 women across five Indigenous communities in the Ecuadorian Amazon through sustainable livelihood projects. By supporting these communities, 149,500 acres of rainforest are protected, and in 2023, the team discovered five new species, showcasing the biodiversity of the region.
