Our Story

In 1999, a transformative journey led Nancy, a former fashion and advertising photographer from Los Angeles, to an indigenous village in the Peruvian Amazon. This experience ignited a passion for improving the health of children and families in the Manu Biosphere Reserve and National Park. Over the past two decades, Nancy's unwavering commitment has driven Rainforest Flow to implement culturally integrated water, sanitation, health, and vocational training programs in multiple communities.

Impacting Generations

Through collaborative and sustainable methods, Rainforest Flow has positively influenced the health of three generations of indigenous people in Peru's Amazon rainforest. The organization is dedicated to building a permanent home for the WASH Education + Research Center (WERC), a vital resource for indigenous communities to learn and share knowledge about health and environmental stewardship.
