RANSOM

Our Story

Founded in 2011 at Samford University, RANSOM began as a vision from a group of football players and students who recognized the need for a faith-based community among female athletes. After observing the positive impact of the "Football Bible Study," leaders initiated a similar program for women, fostering a space that was both radical and real. This led to the establishment of a female Bible study, which met weekly and culminated in a co-ed meeting each month, allowing for collaboration and growth.

Our Impact

Today, RANSOM has expanded to four campuses and is in the developmental stages at many others. Alumni of RANSOM are actively sharing their faith and God's love across various professions, including full-time ministry, professional sports, business, nursing, and medicine.
